Who was Moses?
What comes to your mind when you say MOSES
The moment I rem Moses I rem of few things
Burning bush -Deliverer Israel to promised land-Commandments of God
Moses’ name is Egyptian name nobody knows his Hebrew name? Who gave him the name? meaning of Moses

EXO 2:9 9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay
you.” So, the woman took the baby and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she took
him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses,[
] saying, “I drew him out of the water.”

Moses is described as the humblest man on earth (Numbers 12:3).

He was a Learned man from the wisdom of Egypt (wisdom of the cosmos) He was a Skilled warrior from Egypt

MIGHTY IN WORDS SCHOLAR EDUCATION AND DEEDS LITRETURE AND PHILOSOPHY

He was a Prophet of God
He was a deliverer of Israel from Egypt
He was a lawgiver to the children of Israel
On top he was also a murderer
God transformed a murderer into a powerful deliverer

How did GOD. Deliver Israel ?
Not through chariots not through a big army not through a sword and sphere But only through one information

Located at mount Sinai at a miraculous sight of burning bush
Moses' Journey & Wisdom

God saved Israel through one Information through One man.
Let's see

1- Information

2- Information becomes Knowledge

3- Knowledge Applied is Wisdom

4- Wisdom brings Victory

Information is where u get it Knowledge is how to get there
“Wisdom is application of information+ knowledge“

1- Revelation of God created information
2 - Information of the CREATOR created knowledge of deliverance
3 – Knowledge of deliverance brought wisdom                                                                                          4 - Wisdom created power                                                 5- Power created victory

God gave victory through one INFORMATION WHICH WAS HIGHEST FORM OF KNOWLEDGE called REVELATION.

When God reveals an information in the realm of the spirit it becomes your revelation and your revelation becomes somebody else’s information.
Therefore " Revelation is the highest form of Information which comes from the Spiritual intelligence which converts knowledge into wisdom into power into victory.

Burning bush Revelation from God created information in Moses’ mind
ONE INFORMATION WAS ENOUGH TO DELIVER ISRAEL FROM EGYPT
Amen

Revelation creates information
God's Revelation is your

God's Revelation is your information your Revelation is others information and so on so on

DID u know After 400 yrs of silence God broke his silence at the burning bush
When did he last speak “?

Spoke to joseph in Gen 46:2-3 2 And God spoke to Israel in a vision
at night and said, “Jacob! Jacob!” “Here I am,” he replied.

3 “I am God, the God of your father,” he said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there. 4 I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph’s own hand will close your eyes. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

The burning bush (or the unburnt bush)
The term "burning bush" in the context of the Bible refers to the extraordinary sight that Moses encountered on Mount Horeb (also known as Mount Sinai). The specific Hebrew term used in the Bible for this phenomenon is "seneh" (ְשׂ ֶנה ) in Exodus 3:2.

The root word "seneh" referring to
The root word "seneh" referring to a wild bush with thorns, that produces blackberries

A Bramble or Thorns which represents hardship and persecution

Burning bush cannot be experienced from Egypt
U have to come out of Egypt and humble yourself before the burning bush experience

Moses 40 years in Egypt
Moses 40 years in Median

80 age GOD CALLED HIM to exp burning bush

Exodus - 3
1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led
the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Jethro his father-in-law WHO WAS JETHRO?
Jethro is introduced in Exodus 2:18 as the priest of Midian and the father of Zipporah, whom Moses marries
Jethro is introduced in Exodus 2:18 as the priest of Midian and the father of Zipporah, whom Moses marries
Midian Midian is on the outskirts of Egypt (often called as wilderness or deserts of Midian

Jethro first appears in the narrative when Moses flees from Egypt and arrives in Midian. Moses helps Jethro's daughters at a well, and Jethro offers hospitality to Moses, eventually giving him his daughter Zipporah in marriage (Exodus 2:15-22).

In Exodus 18, after the Israelites had been delivered from Egypt and were in the wilderness, Jethro pays a visit to Moses. He brings Zipporah and Moses' sons to him, and they have a joyful reunion.
Counsel to Moses:

In Exodus 18:13-27, Jethro observes Moses spending all his time judging the people's disputes and offers wise counsel. He advises Moses to appoint capable leaders to assist him in handling the people's needs, creating a hierarchy system of judges.
he led the flock to the far side- humility

For 40 years Moses lived as an obscure shepherd in the desert of Midian. At this point his life
was so humble that he didn’t even have a flock of sheep to call his own – the sheep belonged
to his

confirming that Horeb was the location from which they set off towards Canaan
father-in-law
Herob means “desert” or “desolation

Moses recalled in Deuteronomy 1:6 that God had said to the Israelites at Horeb,

"You have dwelt long enough at this mountain: turn and take your journey"
Exodus 17:6. When Moses was "upon the rock at Horeb", he strikes the rock and obtains drinking water from the rock.

In numbers 20 while journeying through the desert of KADESH same thing happened right regarding no water
What did Moses do? struck staff twice to the rock as so we think because of this disobedience God did not allow Moses to enter the promise land right
But there is something more to it

Why Moses was not allowed to enter the promise land has a diff reason altogether?
9 So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence, just as he commanded him. 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebel, must we bring you water out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
12 But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.”

1- Comparison with the lord – Phil 2:6
2- Something in the question even if it was Aron and him

Mount Herob also known as mount Sinai of ten commandments
Horeb was the location from which they set off towards Canaan

Deuteronomy 1:6 - that God had said to the Israelites at Horeb, "You have dwelt long enough
at this mountain: turn and take your journey"
confirming that

2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw
that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.
First Angel of the Lord appeared in the Burning bush
It was the angel of the Lord and not the Lord in first place It was a flame of fire (small)

Small flame into big fire
He makes his ministers flames of fire
and then the Bush burned like a huge fire

Psalms 104:4
He makes his messengers winds, His ministers a flame of fire. Which caught the attention of Moses
Flame of fire from the midst
From within center
Flame of fire from the midst
From within center
From Within you and not from outside

This type of fire anointing comes from within from from above or sides trough you from inside of you

The Fire of God does not consume whom He wants to use
Just like 3 friends in furnace

But bring the light of illumination to the person whom God wants to use through the Bush God used the burning bush to bring attention unto the lord
The bush was normal but it only got the attention when the fire of God came out of its midst .it became a supernatural bush

(You can be that burning bush for the Lord)
Be ready to be burned by the Fire of the Lord to be used

But Why bush?
God chose a bush and not a tree. God chooses fools to shame the wise
The fire of the Lord does not consume the living but the dead - Spirit will burn flesh (dead stuff) If he wants to use you the fire will come from within you and not consume you.

Look at Shedrak measach abodnego
The fire did not burn them ..

The Furnace became an altar of God himself to come down himself
3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” 4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”

Moses Turned to the bush to see what? INQUISITIVE, INQUIRE, CURIOUS, ANXIOUS TO KNOW?

Great Sight (big big fire)
He went to dig to dig deeper Hunger stirked him
Thirst to know what’s going on There
Because rem he had come from Egypt and he had seen many miracles of jannes and jambrez

2 Timothy 3:8 - Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. double

Exodus 7:11,22
Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they
also did in like manner with their enchantments...
When u decide to inquire that time God will speak to you When u become serious God will become serious with you When u demonstrate, God will start demonstrating you

God was watching Him all the time call Moses, Moses!
implied warning, urgency and importance
as when God called

as when God called Abraham, Abraham! (Genesis 22:11), Samuel, Samuel! (1 Samuel 3:10),

and Moses answered the Call Availability over Ability
5 “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are

6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a
standing is holy ground.”
Don’t come closer or else You will be consumed - because u still have something of the flesh in you
Let me concentrate on you

Remove your shoes because your sandals carry the sand of Egypt and i want to get rid of it because the grounds on which u are standing are holy grounds –
why Holy grounds. ?

God steps in and makes everything holy
The sandals still carried the sand of Egypt
God was going to change the walk

Without changing shoes, the walk cannot be changed Therefore, he gives us the shoes of Gospel of Peace in Eph 6:12 onwards

the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God. God reminds Moses of who He is and Who he Is?

God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob ancestors
At the age of gaining understanding Moses was already in Egypt
Moses was ceremonially unclean as he participated and served Gods of Egypt
He also used to see the atrocities and slavery of the Israelites on chariots as he was prepared to be the next Pharoa

Why did Moses hide his face?
None of the gods appeared to Moses in this fashion never seen before Ashamed of his sin of murder though

7 The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them
crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.
God had been silently watching for 400 years! That means He also must have seen Moses birth and as be grew up ..
8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up
out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home
of the Canaanites, Girjasites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are
oppressing them. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites
out of Egypt.”

God himself came down (we learnt about altars a portal)
Reason Why did God himself come down? heard and seen the misery and slavery of Israel What was the Plan? - Rescue Israel
What was the Purpose? – Dethrone the Canaanites and Give the Land to Israel of their their Own

Then why Moses was required to GOD
" Mission Moses "
Because God always loves to work in Partnership without Moses God could not Do it legally on Earth

MOSES WAS THE BODY GOD USED
11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

Who am I: 40 years before, Moses thought he knew who he was: he was a prince of Egypt and a Hebrew, God’s chosen instrument to deliver Israel. After forty years of chasing sheep around
the desert, Moses didn’t have the same self-sure confidence that he once had.
Moses shares his insignificance Through Human intelligence Who am I what is in me?

The Israelites hated him
Ex 2:11-14
11 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. 12 Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 13 The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, "Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?"

14 The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known."
12 And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you[b] will worship God on this mountain.”

God assures him that its HIM who is going to lead him, go ahead of you
I will certainly be with you: God’s reply is intended to take Moses’ focus off of himself and on
where it should be – on God. Therefore, God never answered the question “Who am I?

Instead, He reminded Moses “I will certainly be with you
Because He didn't know How powerful This God is ..
God said it’s not You alone but I’m going to come with you in the Mission.
Mission Moses

Gods desire now u shall serve me on this mountain. So that they worship me so that I can restore them
EXO -3- 13:14

Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The
God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I

say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to
the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
Finally, He agrees to go with God
But still has many questions
Actually, it was smart Moses who wanted to know GODS name U cannot outsmart GOD

He gave an Attribute and not the name
The text derives Yahweh from the Hebrew word hayah meaning
"I shall be whatever I shall be", or "I am that I am.
